Ashes Of My Dreams

Ashes Of My Dreams

A Poem by McGregor's Myths

Ashes of my dreams float around.
As I bury my hopes in the ground.

And as I sit and stare, I start to think.
I feel my life is on the brink.

Buzzards gather overhead, every time I start to lay.
They know I'm going to fall today.

And I don't care who is to blame.
All I feel is pain and shame.

I wrote this lonely song.
I hope nobody sings along.
I lived this life too long.
6 feet under is where I belong.

I lost all my friends today.
I think it's time to fade away.

No point of staying here.
To live another day is my only fear.

I wrote this lonely song.
I hope nobody sings along.
I lived this life too long.
6 feet under is where I belong.
