Am I An Alcoholic

Am I An Alcoholic

A Poem by McGregor's Myths

Am I an Alcoholic?
All say yes, I say no.
It depends who you ask,
But in the end, only I know

They ask me, how often do I drink?
It's everyday I suppose.
Once I woke up in a ditch.
But hey, sometimes that's the way it goes.

When I drink Whiskey
I prefer a shot glass.
I don't stop till the bottles finished,
Because that would be half a*s.

I come from a family of alcoholics.
I knew they would get me in the end.
So why try to fight it?
I once said to a friend.

My friends worry about my future
They know I'm in a dark place.
But whenever I see Whiskey
A smile comes to my face.

Alright I'm an alcoholic!
Is that what you wanted to hear?
Because running out of Whiskey,
Is my only fear.
