PerspectiveA Poem by Adaliaexperimental
It was the kind of feeling that you get
when you stare at something too long and you have difficulty recognizing it as yours. Because if you look at something long enough you realize that you haven't truly seen it and only noticed it through glances and familiarity. Of course you trust it you know what it is you know how it feels looks tastes. It makes you remember. It brings you back. That's you. The object in the corner of the room constantly staring at me waiting hopefully for something anything to happen. And I never truly looked at you close enough saw you in full. understood you. Until now. And I don't know what to think anymore. You're so foreign when I thought I knew you so well. I've never seen you like this.
