I've learned

a few things i've found about myself recently

i've recently found

that i physically can't

cry when i am cold

when i want to cry

when i am sad and need it

i just can't do it

on pretending to be fine

because i am not

i wish that i could

express all of my problems

but i just cannot

they say it's because i'm young

no- i know better

yes there are others

who are also so, so lost

i just don't know how

i got to be like

this because i used to be

so sure of myself

constantly but i know that

i really should stop

cause it scares me.

I kinda had my derpface on at the beginning because of the first haiku, but the rest pulled me in. You don't have to worry about the pattern falling apart, because there doesn't need to be one. The reader sees the pattern, and through your words sees YOU. Just as we see you fall apart, we also sees the haikus start to come undone as well. Beautiful.

That feeling of wanting to express something that you just can't. The crying part at the beginning. That gets to me because I've been there.
