With you

With you

A Poem by Adalia

With you it's not a walk,
it's a journey, an adventure.
Lost and wandering,
hopeless but pleased.

With you it's not a kiss,
it's a promise, a secret.
Gentle and meaningful,
sweet but sensual.

With you it's not f*****g,
it's a bond, a covenant.
Breathtaking and exciting,
affectionate but carnal.

With you it's not sleeping,
it's togetherness, a connection.
Cuddly and tender,
warm but attentive.

With you it's not a relationship,
it's harmony.

I'm not usually one to promote happiness and all that Lollipop Guild hoohah, but this poem is synonymous with the word 'legit'. You really convey how simple words and actions take on a new meaning when you're in a beautiful relationship. I like that you winded down near the end and left on that final syllable of harmony. I'm just used to writing/reading 'sad b*****d' poetry. So good job. You're great. Gonna tattoo this on my first born's lungs.
