Heal

Heal

A Poem by Adalia
"

You're never alone

"

Go ahead and drink

Go ahead and smoke and smoke

And change who you were.

It’s your life, of course,

But it would be a lie if

I said I don’t care-

I love you, okay?

And it hurts to see you like

A slave to your past.

Your demons follow

And you let them; they’re toxic

You know it, too, man.

Please, please, please.  Don’t ever

Ever think that you’re alone.

I’ll make sure you’re not.
