Unpredictable

Life many times play games with us, the things we wish never come in the time we wish, the good things always come when we less expect.

I learned that  long plans are not drawn,

What we can do is to let the events

Make our plans,

And the present realize them if it has to happen

The moments that are most important to our lives,

Are the ones that get us distracted

The truth is that we will never be prepared to prepare,

For what the world prepared for our lives.

this is so true. i can safely say that what i thought i would end up doing when im older, did not turn out the way i planned for it to happen. i dont regret anything and im glad things have happened the way it happened. we can never prepare for what lies ahead of us, and that is how we learn. good writing!

How true that we will never be prepared, and even when we do prepare...the world will throw us a monkey wrench! I like the simple truth in this poem. It's almost like an ode to life's lessons.

We will never be prepared... Isn't that the truth? We can do a lot to feel that we are prepared, and for many that's an anchor that they need, but the reality is that Life has its own way of playing out. If we roll with it, we learn to be happy - if we don't... Great write!

i have heard, all my life, that chance favors the prepared mind. i have learned in recent years that prepared doesn't mean s**t in the scheme of things. it is all fate, chance and kismet. anyone tells you different didn't lose their entire life savings in the crash of 2008. excellent piece of writing here, i love it!
