A Poem by Johnathan Smith
"

I have absolutely no idea... it just started flowing and I was sitting at the computer.

"

How dare you cheat the Blue Tiger out of his Monkey Nougat,
He’s been fighting the Bandit Zebra all day,
The color of dirt is purple,
The color of the soul is black.

The man in the pinstriped suit holds the key,
In a pocket filled with Locusts,
Marked by the sign of the Fox,
Each head striped white, red, white.

The Frogs of euphoria sing out their call,
The croak of doom separates the fallen,
There is no more,
The Blue Tiger and Bandit Zebra are dead.

The Monkey Nougat stands alone.

Ha, at first I pictured the movie Madagascar - animated flick about animals escaping from the zoo...then I saw alignment with prophecy, and finally the song "the farmer in the dell" - you know - the cheese stands alone. Anyway, quite a journey - I've no idea either, but it was playful with serious undertones...dreamlike.
