Patience

Patience

A Poem by Johnathan Smith
"

The old title was Waiting, but thought patience might be better. N'est ce pas?

"

I sit waiting--
Waiting like the bud that slowly changes into flower,
Waiting for you,
Yearning for that inner sanctity,
yet loving every minute of struggle--
when we are together.

You annoy me--
I love it.

You confuse me--
I like being lost.

You make me insane--
It entices me.

Sometimes I wonder whether to wait any longer,
I enjoy the wait though,
Waiting on you--
to make me one,
to make me complete,
to make me be me.
