Enough, I Say.

Enough, I Say.

A Poem by John E.
"

I express feelings about my life in school. It is about how I am kind of new to my school (only been there for 1 year,) and people laugh at me alot cause they think I am so weird, cause I am interested in good things, yet they are they are interested in t

"

I have had enough!

Enough, I say!

If I am just as tough as them,

Why can they not befriend me?

If I am just as smart as them,

Why to they avoid me?

For I have had friends,

Long, long before.

But should they please,

Let me finish my words?

For the words that I may speak,

Might just welcome them.

I want a friend!

The more they run away,

The less I will be able,

To befriend my neighbors.

Please. Please listen.

My heart is like lead.

My life is like ice.

I have had enough.

Enough, I say.

it's tough not fitting in.. especially in school when we all so desperately want to have a friend and feel like we belong. But fear not, you are a friend worth having it's just a matter of finding those who are able to see. They are out there looking for you as you look for them.
