The Story of a Boy

I'm done with all the hurting

At least that's how I feel

Everytime I get it back

It breaks before it heals

I'm sick of asking everytime

What did I do wrong

Don't be shocked to hear

You're starring in my latest song

This is the story of a boy

The next lines up to you

Deep inside I want to cry

I can't let pain bleed through

Are tears a sign of weakness

Or is that just a myth

A lie told by the media

To make men feel like s**t

Tears are flowing slowly like

Rain on my window sill

They tell me it will go away

Just pop this little pill

Pills won't solve the problem

It will only mask the pain

I'll just put on a happy face

Act like everything's the same

Eventually I'll get over it

At least that's what I always say

My heart shattered like broken glass

I guess tomorrow is a new day

I really like this poem because it portrays how you feel very well. The rhyming is great, because it doesn't come across as forced. Good job.
