Untitled III

Untitled III

A Poem by A.C. Lei

Walk away
Close your eyes
I can't stand the way you stare
The way you make me feel so distress
Don't look me in the eyes
I can't handle the way you look at me
I can't believe that I let myself reveal
Among my mess of lies

Why can't you leave me be
I don't know what you want from me
I bleed I cut and I bruise
All that's left is my ego to lose
Yeah you see me perfect and I let it be
Yeah I try to not look weak
But in reality I can't deny
That I will always be humanly human

I had faced so many failures
And times I felt so inferior
Yet you make it your job to view me
As something so flawless
When all along I had been clueless
Like a doll played by its string
I let myself fall under your whims

And well I'm not perfect
I could never be what you want to expect
I keep at my own space
And yes I admit I feel like a waste
Young to waste my youth on the fast lane
Stupid to get caught along the way

And why can't you leave me be
I don't know what you want from me
I bleed I cut and I bruise
All that's left is my ego to lose
Yeah you see me perfect and I let it be
Yeah I try to not look weak
But in reality I can't deny
That I will always be human
And why can't you see?
I never had been the little girl you can just leave
For something better and new
Over a human that time flew
Nothing begins
Nothing ends.
