Ashes of despair

The uproar spreads within.

The depressing madness on the outside world,

Collapses my soul.

Ashes of a dying dream

blocks the hope forever more.

Brushed away in the air

by the winds of their abhor

A single heart beat echoes,

like a thousand banshees,

whaling for my own death.

Eardrums breaking,

inner peace snapping,

Tears drowning,

breaking within 

Left me behind again,

swimming in my own pieces.

Unable to be fixed

Unable to be comforted

fake smiles shield my damage

tight hugs lock away the pain

I came across this road blocks, trapping the pain and couldn't let go... creating our own prison. Surviving this is a great challenge, getting out of despair will be hard, but it doesn't mean hope is lost forever, it is still there we just don't see it but we know it there....

I find this very well expressed my friend, coming from the very deep of sadness...

it helps to write for me as well it helps
balance my thoughts they go as fast as
a fright train at times if I don't put my thoughts
or feelings down on paper.
