Teacher TeacherA Poem by SammiWanted to try something with an incresing line length... I don't like it =/Teacher Teacher, She is sat there. She's sat at the back. Teacher Teacher, She answers all your quetions. She works from dawn until dusk. Teacher Teacher, She's trying to be the best she can be. She is under excruciating pressure at home. Teacher Teacher, All she wants to do is make her parents proud. Her grades are high for now, but slowly slipping. Teacher Teacher, She can't hold your eye contact, she looks at the floor. You ignore her because she is so well behaved, quiet and smart, Teacher Teacher, She's starting to feel alone when she is surrounded by her friends. They are moving on, forming relations, she feels stuck here, left out.
Teacher Teacher, You have your favourites, she isn't one of them, you don't ask what's wrong, you don't even care. © 2011 Sammi |
