Hypocrisy and Self-Loathing

Hypocrisy and Self-Loathing

A Poem by Akroma

Preach yarns of acceptance,
and mutual respect.
Claim no judging thoughts
tumble dry in our heads.
Yet see the ripples of flabby skin and fat
and wonder
can't they take care of that?
God knows no excuse for such shame,
no reason could be given a forgivable name.
Our eyes far too repulsed
with the sight of (you).
Don't they realize it's owed to us
to look better than (I) do?
