Life CycleA Poem by Akromaage 14He always hated the yelling, The insults and the lies. He always hated the drinking, The vacant look in his father's eyes. He escaped to his friends, He escaped to his school, He escaped his home life, With that alcoholic fool. But at the age of sixteen He found the great need To escape even further To have his emotions freed. So he reached the conclusion That his daddy had found; When the bottle is empty The crying boy makes no sound. © 2009 Akroma |
