Impervious

Impervious

A Poem by ace

skin of stone and bones of steel
and yet my wounds will never heal
i can survive being shot stabbed and drowned
but now ive come to of found
death is a minor pain
compared to having to sustain
a world that you are not a part of
a world where i dont know your love
losing u sent me to hell
unable to go back from where i fell
i had never felt like a demon before
but now it seems to fit more and more
if only i could lose this cursed addiction
maybe then you would undo my eviction
but for all my strength i am so weak
and cant resist the substance i seek
so i shall never see you again
and now my life is truly at an end

Great poem, but maybe the format could be changed...?

I liked how it seemed like the character had all the physical toughness ever, but all of his problems were emotional/mental, good job.
