DECEPTION

DECEPTION

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Despite arriving at intention-
Error holds more suspension,
Crafty enough to blame inattention-
Evoking such satisfying tension-
Pity it is upon reflection,
Truth is not always pleasant perfection
Illicit lies may better answer a question-
Ommiting facts at personal discretion-
Navigate the situation in your desired direction.

Hi Amanda Your poem was very clever and outlines the art of deception perfectly. The way the poem masterfully uses one form of rhyming is not easy. Well done :)
