See what I say

See what I say

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Do lips that move-
Have points to prove?
Are clanging teeth-
Prolonging grief?
If a tongue with a twist,
Or a prominent lisp,
Distracts the audience-
Do the words lose their dominance?
Are you able to see the words I say-
While interpreting them your own way?
