Soul Secrets

Soul Secrets

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Sighing deep,
Insight is not cheap...
Is there relief in falling back asleep?
Telling faith: it can take a leap-
Treating the body like a waste heap-
Leveling it all with one negligent sweep.
Consciousness observes a buried weep...
What other secrets does the soul keep?
