Haiku 4

Haiku 4

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Absurdly precious
Foreign urges come calling
At last: acquaintance

Aggressive laughter:
Forced pity, pure hate, denial-
Tell me your excuse...

Please sing what you mean
Baptize me in purity
The truth shines through cracks

Thin strong green soldiers
Pounded, chewed, trotted over
Mother Earths' doormat
