Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Loneliness,
Without it I could not exist.
You?
Knowing me?
That is as terrifying as can be.
If I could not hide,
If you refuse to abide-
Then forget my name,
I know I can survive.
You think you matter?
That if you go I will be torn and tattered?
Understand this:
With you in my life I am only sadder.
Your false praises,
Only make me madder.
When I realize this:
That you are only there because I insist:
You have no power-
I am the masochist.
