Decisions

Decisions

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Eyes wide open,
Still hesitant to jump in...
Projecting the losses
Before I even begin.
Concerned I will lose myself-
The most destructive sin.
I do not trust,
I continue to defend.
Aching inside,
I flash a playful grin...
Does any of it make a difference,
Or is this deception again?

Thanks so much- I think its an integral part of the human condition to be deceived and to deceive...
