Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by Amanda Richelle
"

Where you look alters what you see...

"
Subtly shifting my gaze,
I discover more:
More erosion,
More existence,
More than I've seen before.

Tilting my head left,
Now I see...
See the slips,
See the tumbles,
See that I'm not where I thought I would be.

Angling my head right,
Triumphantly I feel!
Feel compassion,
Feel forgiveness,
Feel my imperfections are my human appeal.
