Intention

Intention

A Poem by Amanda Richelle

Ego starved,
Wilted heart,
Ready to bury my head.

Empty skull,
Shattered soul,
Beginning to blend right in.

Blinded eyes,
Ignored cries,
Constricted throat again.

Sweaty palms,
Misguided fawns,
Humiliation: you win.

Unforgivable sins,
Betraying limbs,
Is this what the world intends?
