The Mosquito and The Angel

The Mosquito and The Angel

A Poem by disconnectedspirit
"

The lifespan of a mosquito is over once it draws blood it dies.

"

It tried to fly amongst the greatest Angels,

Landing on pure white wings of steel,

Confusion in mid flight from similar wings,

The stinger was never seen or even felt,

Feeding on life giving energy,

Drawing out health and healing with its' prick,

Replacing the sweet goodness with venom,

Leaving a scar that will always itch,

The Mosquito life span has now ended from the bite,

Drifting from the air to dust.
