Conflicted

A poem I wrote. I still have feelings for my ex, but at the same time I like this new guy.

Conflicted 

Sitting in this room. 
Not knowing what to do. 
Thinking of how I'm lonely, 
and thinking about you. 

Thinking about this new guy 
that I have feelings for.
 But I still have feelings for 
you though, so my heart 
can never be sure.

My emotions are conflicted.
 I don't know what to do. 
Should I mourn our lost 
relationship, or should 
this new guy I pursue.

Should I pull the knife across 
my wrist; bring all my poetry 
to an end. Should I keep on 
writing about my new 
found friend?

very bitter and go under skin. life can put us to the very cruel and stupid situations. and nobody us prepare for this. dealing with them on the paperis one thing . and dealing at real life is second thing. i wish you choose right. great poem what have deep meaning. thank you

Sorry, I'm just now replying. I don't get reviews often, so I don't check my page often, unless I'm bored, or I have something to post. I'm glad u like my poem. I moved on from the guy I wrote about a long time ago. He hates me now.
