Love Is

Written in 1987

 

Some people ask, what is love,

for sure they do not know,

because they think its many things,

that men and women show.

But love is more than showing,

its something deep within,

its God’s way to unite us,

and release us from all sin.

Love is giving and sharing,

to help in time of need,

it has no lust or sorrow,

it has no deceit or greed.

Love has reasoning and hope,

its made up of logic and joy,

it lasts forever and a day,

love is not a toy.!
