My Little Crowbar

My Little Crowbar

A Poem by knowman
"

Written to my last wife.

"

Leverage is the tool,

To make her life complete,

But the way she uses it,

Leads to more defeat.

When pressure is applied,

In a negative kind of way,

It leaves a nasty taste,

Which always seems to stay.

If this same form of pressure,

Was positively applied,

There’d be joy in everyday,

And nothing there to hide.

So just to be a crowbar,

Is neither good or bad,

It’s how you apply your pressure,

That leaves you feeling sad.
