Done By The BestA Poem by knowmanWritten in 1989 has a sequelGod surely sent her to me, I have no doubt of that, I felt I had a queen, Instead she was a brat. Hurting her, I thought I was, It turned out the other way, I slowed down to a stop, But you surely didn’t stay. You had my head a spinning, Without reason and or rhyme, You had my all, my everything, Until the end of time. As I searched you out my dear, The more I became aware, I needed you all the more, But more, you were not there. This has been a test to me, For playing this damn game, And now I know what to do, And you will do the same. It was of course a test of love, And she was my final test, I know it came from heaven, I was Done by the very best. Knowman © 2011 knowman |
