Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by absolutefolie

You’re so oblivious

Really.

I mean, here I am

Watching your every move

Your laugh,

It makes my insides

Flip

Flop

It makes me smile.

Those butterflies,

Inside me,

I think,

I think they’re pretty worn out.

But still,

They keep fluttering around.

They obviously like you

Like I do,

Kinda.

Okay, quite a bit

A lot

Too much.

A wonderful bit of poetry direct from the source, the heart.

If you still have those butterflies a year from now (or ten or twenty years) that's how you'll know that it's for real.

Hey there. This is where I keep all of the jumbled words in my head after I have organised them into pieces of writing. If you lend me some words of wisdom, I will happily return the favour! more..
