A short poem I wrote during one of my depressive rants :)

There’s someone for everyone

That’s what they say.

 

There they are with their someone.

A friend

A lover

A soul mate

A future

 

Does everyone find their someone?

 

Maybe.

Maybe not.

 

There’s someone for everyone,

So where’s mine?

Simple but deft, you have expressed in it purest form a though that almost eveyone has had or will have at some point.
I enjoy the ambuiguity of the emotion, there is a timidity without it being outright sadness, there is also an acceptence without any notion of a defeat.

I can relate to this piece, good question, where? Timing. My problem I find the right one for me, she don’t feel the same for me. Its tough there’s this one girl I believe to be the one, she shot me down twice but I think there’s hope, I’m going for a third.
