Perception

Perception

A Poem by Abon Hassan
"

I want to see through the palm of her hands; feel the heat of her steps. Perception is tricky and none will tell what's beyond that smile, and what facts astound her mind.

"
It's true, perception can change from one to another. What she grasps can be the exact opposite of me. Beautiful and colorful, the strange gap between what's true, and what's desirable. I can feel the heat of their steps as they go along, as the puff of smoke leaves my lungs. I stand, strong and tall, believing in a reality that seemingly waits to be discovered, explored in the beat of their hearts and the palm of their hands. I love them as I love every woman I've met, and yet I don't know them or what astounds their mind.
