Bitter Heart

Bitter Heart

A Poem by Abluetopazdragon

Bitter Heart

So cold and blue

It hardens at the thought of you.

The pain you caused so deep and true

How could I ever love you

I gave you my heart to hold as your own

You took it and turned it into stone.

The misery you caused only deepened by your tone

Ignoring the pain I tried to pull through

Only to find my heart turned to stone.

A bitter heart ?

Please ! We do not change others thinking.
Only the other can change their thinking.

Just smile and turn the page.
