Poem of a Life's Song

This is my favorite poem that I have written. I am hoping it is as good as I believe it to be.

The mystique of your life

Makes the people curious;

But I avoid the knife,

Life is too mysterious.

We dance until you sing

About something unknown;

The look upon your face

Would always be alone.

The words that feed my bliss

Will never be the same;

With every single kiss

The music starts a flame.

Mystery hits my heart

With a song that's heard by few;

The people won't take part,

Now waiting on your cue.

Anna, I kept having to re-read this poem (and that's something I rarely do). The diction in it was unusual with phrasing like "We dance until you sing About something unknown;"

I loved it! Also the title is very vibrant and caught my eye. You used metaphors in a very mature way and while some may be fooled by the simplistic language, this piece has intricacy that belongs to a true artist!
