I personally prefer the second version, but I really dug both. I could totally relate. I know the feeling. I think that I did that on thursday... ahh. But yes, I felt like the second one was easier to get into.
Oh goodness, this is a hard choice. I really like them both, and the message you are sending across. I think if I had to choose I would choose the second one. I feel like calling him daft should be right there and upfront. Both are wonderful though!
