Chapter Three: Hunter HillsA Chapter by dicey jones“The fascination of shooting as a sport depends almost wholly on whether you are at the right or wrong end of the gun.” ― P.G. Wodehouse.
Extremely dangerous. Those two words was enough to keep the community of Landon away from a three hectare plot of land. There were no signs, no signboards, no electrifying fences, yet the place was avoided like a plague. Parents told stories to their kids, stories most of them also heard as kids...they never really do know anything except the fact that within those forests were beasts, monsters, ghost whatever sounded evil to them. Some even said the devil lives within that forest.
Gabrielle bent to kiss her kid, she hated the story, but she had to always remember him that his father was a hero. She wasn't sure if the twelve year boy would understand she never meant his father was superman, he was just a simple village herder who heard the cries of people and had decided to tempt fate...no one goes to hell and returns. She tried very hard not to let the tears in her eyes escape, she wanted a son would one day grow up and become fearless. She tried but still, her eye couldn't hold any longer the banks of tears storing there for the past three years, she rushed out of the room into the dark abyss of the night, stared towards the hills and let them flow. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************** This was supposed to be the happiest moment of his life, or so he thought. Seeing his friends after such a long time was supposed to be ecstasy. In just three years everyone had change, not really everyone but her, she's become more beautiful, really sexy making him feel all hot inside only now she's become a close friend of Wen. "So how close are you with her?" "Close. I mean after her sister went missing, she'd confided in me. Sorry, i never intended for it to be this way" Wen said smilingly. "F**k you, I can see you very much intended for that men" "What can i say Ado, life is a b***h." He wondered how there was such a person who took everything so lightly, even the possibility of closing in with his dream girl. "What are those two up to?" Ade asked nodding his head towards the heated conversation between Mike and Sophia. "The couple?! they are always up to something, or nothing" "Should i like... "No! Don't think you wanna meddle in their affairs." Wen warned "Hey" the soft voice, he used to adore. "Hey" he spoke shyly. "I'd better leave you two alone, let me go find out whats wrong with them pitheads." Wen left. s**t he wasn't ready to speak with her now, he wasn't ready to speak with her at all. "You own me an apology, for not inviting me to the gathering" she stared into his eyes. and you own me an apology for not accepting me into your heart. "You're here anyways so...i'm sorry" "I never really needed that, so where are we off too?" He hadn't had time to think of a place, they just all came rushing here. he needed time to think, plan and execute. "S**t don't tell me you don't know?" Nia asked [ ] "I am still...." "Listen you all, we are going to Hunter Hills." she shouted on top of her voice. "Were the f**k is that, an hunted hill?" Mike said laughing, no one laughed. "No an hunted forest." "That sounds dangerous." Sophia said "Sure it is, what fun would there be, if there were no risks." "And why do you think we should go there?" Wen asked. "Because that was the last place Drake and Katheryn, went to, and i intend on finding them. So if you are with me, pack your bags time is running short." She bounced off the room. Everyone looked shocked, they stare at eachother and wonder what else might anyone of them pull off, Nia isn't the shy girl they knew...she has become bolder then anyone of them could imagine, she was bolder than anyone of them is. Ade sighed, watched as everyone packed their bags. This is going to be one s**t of an adventure
