New Dawn

Love was the magic that eluded..
I walk miles and went through storms
I shed tears and found myself scorched
Then She came.
Bringing along hope and a new dawn
it took me only few moments to realize
I just felt she would be the light
the one i had been searching for
the one i had been destined for
She cares, she loves and she understands
the way no one else does
she is my reason, my purpose, my aim
She taught me that Perfect is not always perfect
I learned from her, she guides me now
It is not a secret now, for i know i have surrendered
I am hers...heart, mind and soul
Mistakes happen and i who thought i knew myself
i was wrong and i wronged
she so strong, so caring, so understanding

A lifetime with her is what i want
A lifetime to love, cherish, care, protect and adore her

Dreams i never had, hope she gave
Mountains or storms..even if i have to go through hell
