Tipsy Love

Tipsy Love

A Poem by Abhas Kumar Rai

Standing on the Ledge,

Wind was fluttering her perfect hairs,

Teasing the sunlight falling on my face,

I was looking in to her dark eyes,

I can see her falling in to oblivion,

As if sun light was dying behind the ridge,

She was having ocean of possibilities,

She had the the chance

Spread her wings and fly,

Never seemed to see me at all,

Left the trail like a dragon tail.

She pushed herself,

Opted the other side,

left me with no smile,

Other call it tipsy love,

But I call it an autumn shade
