A wish to Love

A wish to Love

A Poem by Abhas Kumar Rai

I can't see your face, I can't see your expressions,
I always mold my veins, through your words,
I always dream to watch you laughing nonsensical,
I always wish to dance with you in the vogue style,

I can't see your face, I can't see your expressions,
I am wrecked when you leaves me for seasons,
I am fragile when your voice don't hit my eardrums,
I am a sand dune until you engulf me in your arms,

I can't see your face, I can't see your expressions,
I only wish to love you hopelessly,
I only believe in you unconsciously,
I only thinks to bring you back, get you back.

I got a real sense of fun in this and then quickly turned to sorrow then to such yearning - it spoke to my heart.
I thought this line was amazing "I am a sand dune until you engulf me in your arms," - just amazing.
Im fast becoming a fan Abhas
