Red and Blue...

Red and Blue...

A Poem by abhas

Alone

Lying on the floor,

At the edge of eternity,

Someone calls my name,

I let it ooze out today,

Never tried to resist,

Cheeks pale, lips have turned blue,

Didn’t want to hurt you anymore,

I suffer from faustian pain,

In a pool of conscience

That feels like blood,

The sky painted red today,

It rained without you,

As my face reflects on the cold waters of the street,

Couldn’t have grown old enough,

To not to love you anymore,

In turbulence of thoughts,

Someone painted my eyes red,

In the sky, on the floor,

I must have been here before,

And the window,

In this dark room

Shows breezing images,

Of the years gone by...

A lot of hidden story and mystery to this poem. Some question and desire must be answer by living and hoping for a good ending.
"In turbulence of thoughts,
Someone painted my eyes red,
In the sky, on the floor,
I must have been here before,"
I like the strong ending to a outstanding poem.

I agree with Coyote here....hidden mysteries and emotions...so couldn't quite identify with what you wanted to explain here exactly...but as a piece of poetry that is not the matter of concern...the comparison is magnificent-"In a pool of conscience,That feels like blood, "...the windows in the dark room are almost visible...loved your work here!

. you couldn't have written this beautifully if you hadn't experienced something as intensely beautiful ... i know (don't i ?) that it's not much consolation ... but there's a kind of love that few of us experience and it's the kind that tells us that we're exceptionally sensitive and exceptionally compassionate and exceptionally passionate people ... that's why you can take the words of a language and inject into them an intensity that is unique and almost palpable ... this is extremely poignant poetry ... and whether or not it makes anything happen ... that you can write it ... is something i'm grateful for ...
