Rust of the soul...A Poem by abhasI’m the evil, That hurls flaming spotlights, That shows your smile, For your scars are not in their style,
Why do you smell of fear and pain? To shower them in disdain You can’t even walk now, you just slide, I know the shrinking feeling inside,
Laughter and merriment makes you wild, Wonder if there’s anything mild, What a pity! You’re still a part of the mob, Who shares the loneliness of your job...?
I hate you so...
Gulp the fireball one day, And tried to go over the edge, But in thoughts and despair, Failed for there’s too much to care,
On the way home Reflecting on the things left to do, To fake yourself for you’ve grown, An urban legend comes true,
A park passes by Children play without the wings, Whispers and tears put you to sleep,
To wake up again next day To re enact the scene, Only the hollow has grown... © 2011 abhasFeatured Review
