Words and Reveries...

Words and Reveries...

A Poem by abhas
"

if you find life ... what can you do if not live it...

"

A radium nightingale,

A song from distant shores,

The rain in suburban winter,

All the pain in my heart,

I know you, never saw you,

I have felt you, you never saw me.

You sleep with me throughout the night,

Bid me farewell before morning light,

Right there at my moment of cheese,

You flow through my veins like words and reveries,

The reason to live, the reason to die,

I’ve shed tears, when I heard you cry,

At least we don’t weep alone,

For you are my queen but I don’t have a throne,

Call my name and let me know,

The farthest corners to which I shall go,

A clove baked night in a forest all lit with passion,

I fell in love again with my creation,

Don’t you get hurt, don’t you even try,

I know most of them will make you sigh,

I’m with you... I can never lie,

Time will stand still and we’ll pass it by...

Forever and never I won’t cease to strive,

To be on the flower and not in the hive,

To imbibe the nectar that you are,

We’ll live on the moon just like another scar,

Now I never sleep alone,

You’re still at the horizon... the numbers have grown,

Yet before and after my moment of cheese,

You caress me like words and reveries...

. wow ... this is grand and epic and spectacular beyond measure ... ki shundor ... i can't believe my eyes ... all i want is to hear eben sing this song in his magical voice ... on a piano ... and for me to just hear him sing ... in silence ... and in tears ... your words are just so lyrical and moving ... exquisite poetry, abhas ... beyond my expectations ... honestly ... and i love that ... it's an honour to witness you transcend your previously demonstrated level of excellence ...

reveries are my favorite

It started psychedelic but gradually transformed into a song of heartbreak....great work........it paints the mind of a poet in dreamlike state who long for his lost love every foggy morning and every silent night........i like specially the line "We’ll live on the moon just like another scar"........purely gothic treat.......keep it up!!!!!

Thank you for this powerful and beautiful poem. A perfect kingdom needs two people with the same desire to find happiness. A outstanding poem.

Very well done. I think the most poignant verse is the 2nd to last. You've done very well at capturing some deep feelings for someone.
