Winter, Radisson, Friends..

Winter, Radisson, Friends..

A Poem by abhas
"

friendship is such a valueable thing... :)

"

Me and my friends packed up some life,

The cold winter air had the right crunch,

It cut open our hearts with its knife,

And opened up a myriad of feelings for lunch,

The foliage brimmed with hysterical laughter,

The clouds called for some early rains,

We didn’t care about monotonic disasters,

The downpour washed away our pain.

As we grooved to the summer of ’69,

Bought all the cold beer from the store,

Flew with ghosts in the grape vine,

And I thought I had nothing to think about anymore,

All our crushes and secret grudges felt so funny,

When Clayderman enlightened our liquored souls,

And how we decided to run out of money,

We were like marmosets out of our holes!

We laughed like hell and cried without a devil spell,

As time drew closer for us to let go,

The breeze injected that sorrow’s smell,

But all in all it was nice to know...

That I love these people in my life,

As we realised we were the chosen seven,

Friends can heal and end this silly strife,

And this journey always leads to Heaven.

. woo hoo! ... i agree ... all the way ... it's that journey ... the follies and the unfathomable delirium ... the spice and the ambiguity ... the realizations and the contradictions ... ultimately all leading up to that safe place called heaven ... cheers to the wonderful seven ... i'm a fan ... may they always rejoice ... and if not ... laugh it off together ... crazy verse (poem) ...
