"

i know this isnt great, i just wanted to play around with 2nd pov

"
you start kindergarten
you go for three days
then you take a test
now you're in first grade
you're younger than everyone else but you like it
you genuinely enjoy being different
you make a lot of friends
you grow with these people for five years
you move away in sixth grade
you get bullied by students and teachers and you cry after school every single day
you move back in seventh grade
your old friends have forgotten about you and the new people dont know you
you make new friends
you grow with these people
you're a freshman in high school now
you made the varsity softball team
you made new friends
you made all a's
you are oblivious and confident and happy
softball season ends
you're still happy
its summertime
because you dont have school, you arent forced to see the same people every day
you lose your friends
you lose your confidence
you are a sophomore now
you lose your innocence
you lose your optimism
you lose your aunt to a coma
you lose your relationship with your father
you fail algebra
you dont know who you are anymore
you fight with your mom
now you're a junior
this whole year is kind of a blur
you were sad and
confused and
lonely and
suicidal and
lost
you lose your faith in church
not in God
but in church
you get a job at an amusement park
you really like it and you're good at it
you make new friends
you're still depressed but its not as prominent
you make a lot of money
you buy a lot of food and pens and sunglasses
and hand sanitizer
you start smoking
a lot
you get drunk and you kiss your best friends
they leave you behind
you get sad again
you quit your job
you're a senior
you're depressed
you're depressed
you're depressed
you make some new friends
you get closer to Emily
you go on adventures
you start taking people's senior pictures
you're good at it and you like it a lot
you get all A's your first semester
you learn about History and you love it
you stop drinking soda
you start dating Andrew
you go to the park
you go to starbucks
you go to the plaza district
you go to a restaurant
you hold hands
you show him your favorite place in the city
you're happy
you kiss
a lot
Andrew doesnt want to date you anymore
you get really sad
your friends talk to you about it
they dont really get it
but they mean well
and that makes you happy for a bit
you're still depressed
you have good conversations with old friends
you still get sad when you drive past Katie's house
you miss katie
you miss hayley
you miss noble
you miss jordan
you miss vicky
you miss jared
you miss being a kid
you miss living across the street from your best friends
you miss riding the bus
you miss softball
you miss kalyn
you miss kailen
you miss basketball
you miss a lot
but you're okay
