![]() 1 <3 Miss BeginerA Chapter by CherryBombMartin Conwell, that sweet innocent rich loser, who lives in Long Branch, New Jersey, has a party at the end of every summer. Remember that huge one, where only Jersey people were allowed, that was held a few years ago? Remember that girl wearing a coach dress? Well not the company Coach; "The style of a coach on a team" as Michael Shelby stated out at Martins party. Yea, the coach girl was me. I had absolutely no experience with anything at that time. Well me and Alice Jays crashed Martins party for the hell of it. Me and Alice were best friends at that time, but people change, because other people change people. Well forget about that, back to the party. Yea, well me and Alice crashed the party. As I was standing near the dance floor, this gorgeous guy came up to me. "Hi" I blanked out and dropped my white chocolate phone. As he picked it up, he tripped on my sandals. "Oh, I'm so sorry" "Its fine" he answered "really" "I'm Jacob" he continued I recognized that gorgeous face from the past, but just couldn't remember from where. Camp; last summer? "I'm Nicole" "You go to Jersey Shore Day School?" Jacob asked, as he removed his Top Run hat, from two years ago, and flipped his hair back. “No I’m actually from Brooklyn” I divulged “Brooklyn girl at a Jersey party?” “Yes” I giggled “You come here for the summer?” he went on “Yes” I noticed this gay streak in his voice that was really unattractive. “Oh that’s cool” I dropped my phone again, and he picked it up, again. He added his number, and handed me his phone to add mine. “What did you do this summer?” He asked, just trying to start a conversation “Teen Camp, what about you?” “Surfing” He totally looked like a surfer. Mid Conversation, Tina Milson; the biggest loser, came up to Jacob and started flirting with him. “Jacob” Tina teased as she winked at Jacob “Tina” “I like your hat!” “Thanks” I tried not to laugh. “So I’ll talk to you later Nicole?” “Yea” I answered as he walked away “I don’t think he’s that into you” Tina said “Ohm gosh next time don’t ruin these kind of moments” I yelled at her really pissed. It wasn’t exactly her fault though. As I turned around I noticed many other Brooklyners. I saw Evelyn Sherom and Michelle Dwein hopelessly lost on the dance floor. As I walked over to say hi Tina followed. I gave Evelyn and Michelle a hug hello. “Evelyn! Nicole was flirting with your man!” Tina blurted out “What? Nicole! Jacob?” Evelyn said really pissed, it made her face look like she had double the freckles. “No! We just met! He’s really cute” I said lowering my voice so I won’t seem like I’m falling for him so quickly “Ah, you can have him” Evelyn said with a relief “anyways he’s not mine. I’ve been crushing on him since last summer, he’s totally gay.” It was weird how she added the he was totally gay part in the end. It feels as if she had said it just so I can back off. “Wow! He’s hot!” Evelyn said as she was looking past me. I turned around. She was talking about Nathan Milson. Don’t get confused on these names. I live in an ethnic Jewish community of Brooklyn, Deal and a small part of Miami; Aventura. Many people share first names and surnames. There’s look a likes, sound a likes, talk a likes and act a likes. “Shoot!” I said to myself not noticing Evelyn, Michelle and Tina heard. Nathan gave me eye contact. I covered my face in complete shame as I walked away. “You totally have a story with him! Give me details!” Evelyn demanded “Shush! He hates me!” “Why what happened?” she asked just trying to act like she cares. I flashed back to May, two days before my birthday. When Anne invited me to her community play of High School Musical. I didn’t want to go because the last play I fell in love with Moe Silten, who played Aladdin in Aladdin. I decided to go with force. The guy playing Troy was Nathan. I thought he was so adorable. At the end of the play, when I got home I went on Facebook and searched in Nathan Milson. From there I added him and messaged him ‘Hey Nathan. Remember Me?’ Nathan declined my friend request, than messaged me ‘No. Sorry’. I felt this touch for some reason. I messaged him back ‘Lol. Sorry I was kidding. I saw you at your play. You were great!’ I felt like a stalker. He answered ‘Ha-ha. Thanks’. I than continued and ask what camp he’ll be attending. He answered ‘Cove. What about you?’ ‘Teen Camp' I responded. ‘No! I wanted to see you’ he answered back disappointed. Then I remembered when I ended up going to the movies with him, even though the ‘date’ wasn’t exactly how I planned it to be. We fought and I cried for days. “Nothing” I answered
