What many wishedA Poem by abedua
Marylin song,
she married young. Was treated right and therefore was always bright. Her husband always took her hand. 'I love you,' he always said 'And there is none like you in the world.' When she had her first child, many went wild. 'how,' they asked 'can someone be this blessed?' And soon her husband passed away. As if what many wished brought a curse her way. So hard, she wept. And soon, she also slept on death's bed never to say another word. You want to know what happened to her son, Bow? Well many did it again. By asking again. 'How,' they asked 'can this little boy now live all alone in this world unharassed?' And now he too lies dead. All because many wished him dead. © 2013 abeduaAuthor's Note
