II. FortunaA Chapter by Abdul AzizII. Fortuna A speck of sun and fulsome moon Entangled into one; A silhouette of thousand stars, Whose day had just begun; She spared a smile and walked towards The dawning of the sun.
The wailing of the violins Now turned a sprightly tune; She strode upon the fallen leaves, Maroon and opportune And breathed her life into the clay And waltzed towards the noon.
She bore a noble magic touch, She kissed the air alive; The smell of dread now fell down dead - Her fragrance then arrived. The trees regained their canopy, Their chartreuse coat revived. © 2014 Abdul AzizAuthor's Note
