Never Bid Me Goodbye


Jamboree, jamboree! Jet black eyes,
Uncautelous flame that's raging on!
Vanilla canopied surprise,
End my vacillatory song.
Requite my faith and do reprise
Illacerable symphonies long;
And keep me close, I'll sing along.

You set emotions prancing by
Atop the wings of fireflies
Surreptitiously glancing by;
Egret under azure skies,
Eclogue, thou with dancing eyes
Never bid me that painful last goodbye.

You sure test my vocabulary!
I think this poem is very unique. I like your word choice, such as "vanilla canopied sunrise" compared with the "azure skies." The rhythm of this poem does not skip a beat, and each line was so well penned. It's a very distinct piece. Well done!!

to catch a gaze then offer the requip, I could see into the passionate
eyes of the muse as I read your words, when such wonder abounds,
as to render the heart when hypnotized, this is remarkable work,
it's a reflection of the spellbound poet ^_^
