And When I Find HerA Poem by Abdul AzizSometimes inspiration lies at boredom's tiny feet, And all that's needed is for us to carry on with life. Sometimes expectations fall down, crashing through the
skies, But if you get a move on, son, you'll find yourself
surprised. And then I found her, perfection, But now she's letting go.
You're tired of using expletives describing weary life And now you look around to see the world with clear eyes; There's too much going on to think, you quietly surmise And though the pain may fade away, you want it to survive. And when I find her in my eyes I will not let her go. And when I find me in her eyes, She will not let me go. This life is filled with sorrow but there's also room for
joy, The world's a frightening place to live but it's our only
home; And when the tears have ceased to fall, you'll realize one
day, Your heart's a self- assembly kit; just glue it back again. And when I find her in my eyes I will not let her go. And when I find me in her eyes, She will not let me go. And when I find her in my eyes I will not let her go. And when I find me in her eyes, She will not let me go. © 2011 Abdul AzizReviews
